Questions?

Have a question for us about what we can do for you?  We invite you to contact us! Below are questions clients have asked of us in the past about our services.

What would it cost me to have my table refinished? -June F.

Dear June, We can't determine the amount of work without at least speaking to you and seeing a picture first, but we would prefer to see the table in question. Talking to you and seeing the piece allows us to to give you a good estimate of the amount of work, supplies needed and repairs required on your piece. We can give you an approximate estimate by seeing a picture, but we do need to visually inspect an item to give actual cost. We don't charge for our estimates unless you require an official written estimate for insurance purposes.

Each piece is different and many factors go into our cost analysis. Some of these factors are repair/ replacement of broken or missing items, re-veneering or veneer repair, ornate detailing that requires hand sanding, wood type, advanced coloring and structural modifications.

Despite all the hard work and attention to detail we give our customers, our prices are extremely competitive.

While moving, the drawer on our kitchen hutch was destroyed. Now we are left with a perfectly good piece minus one drawer. Can you help? --Melissa R.

Dear Melissa, Absolutely! We can recreate drawers or just about anything you can think of. Bring in the old drawers, no matter what the damage, and any other unbroken drawers. We would even like to see the entire hutch if possible. We can build you a brand new drawer that fits your hutch perfectly. We will exactly match the measurements anc color.

We can also replace or manufacture the drawer's hardware if you are unable to salvage the drawer handle from the drawer that was destroyed. You will be surprised at what we can fix!

My wife is insisting that we have the bed in our guestroom refinished. Her sister is coming to stay with us for a while and we would like it done before she gets there. How long will it take to have that done? --Barry M.

We can give you an estimated completion date after viewing your piece. We normally operate on a first come, first serve basis system. In most cases turn around time is 3-4 weeks. On occasion we do accommodate rush orders for an additional charge, but we prefer not to do this as it inconveniences other clients.

When a piece comes in, we assess the work needed and then assign the piece to a Technician and a Master Refinisher who specializes in the craft required. Our Refinishers work on assignments in the order they come in. Your piece may take longer if we need to source special materials to complete a particular piece, such as unusual stain, hardware, glass, etc.

Although the majority of our work is performed in an environmentally controlled atmosphere, completion time is greatly affected by humidity so weather can be a factor in your timeline.
